Agency Guidelines
The binding rulebook and operational policies for all agencies and syndicates operating on the MyCountry.News platform.
Last Updated: October 20, 2018
1. Franchise Rights: The "One-Agency-Per-City" Monopoly
To guarantee absolute publisheric quality and shield agency revenue from market saturation, MyCountry.News enforces a strict geographic monopoly framework.
Exclusive Territorial Rights
A. Vetting & Approval Process
- Rigorous Verification: All prospective agencies must undergo a comprehensive KYC (Know Your Customer) audit, submitting valid government identification and corporate registry documentation for Super Admin review.
- Quality Assurance: The platform reserves the absolute right to reject any application failing to meet our stringent internal quality, ethical, and security benchmarks.
B. The National Syndicate Tier
- Enterprise Licensing: A National Media Syndicate is an enterprise-grade corporation holding exclusive broadcasting rights for an entire nation.
- Jurisdictional Override: Syndicates bypass localized municipal restrictions, granting them the ultimate authority to orchestrate, manage, and scale unlimited micro-agencies across all cities within their borders.
C. The 3-Tier Registration Architecture
- 1. Business Entry (Public): Agency Owners complete the KYC application to claim their geographic franchise. Gamification quotas are not set during this business registration.
- 2. Publisher Invite Entry (Private): Holding 100% legal liability, the Agency Owner exercises their exclusive right to hire publishers via their private dashboard, setting the publisher's Gamification Quota (Part-Time or Full-Time) upon invitation.
- 3. Publisher Registration (Private): The invited publisher receives a secure, system-generated cryptographic token via email to activate their account and lock into the parent agency's infrastructure.
2. Content Standards & Strict Legal Liability
MyCountry.News strictly operates as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) infrastructure provider. We do not engage in editorial oversight, curation, or pre-publication approval of your content.
100% Legal Liability & Indemnification
A. Prohibited Content Directives
Agencies face immediate revocation for publishing the following material:
- Disinformation & Malicious Hoaxes: The deliberate dissemination of fabricated news, organized conspiracies, or unverified claims designed to mislead public perception.
- Hate Speech & Incitement: Content actively promoting physical violence, severe discrimination, or targeted harassment based on race, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
- Intellectual Property Theft (DMCA): The unauthorized broadcasting of stolen articles, unlicensed stock photography, or plagiarized intellectual property from competing networks.
- Explicit Material: Pornographic or sexually explicit content is universally banned across the global network.
B. Reader Accountability & Escalation
- Direct Escalation Protocol: Readers utilize a strict "Report Article" mechanism present on every broadcast. This immediately flags dangerous content directly to the global Super Admin security team, bypassing all local agency interference.
3. Minimum Publishing Quotas
To retain Verified Publisher status and active system access, publishers operating under an agency must strictly adhere to the following activity benchmarks based on their designated employment tier.
Agency Responsibility
While the Agency business entity does not have a strict quota, the Publishers (Publishers) hired by the Agency are held to these strict activity standards. If a city franchise becomes completely dormant because all hired publishers fail to meet their quotas, the Super Admin reserves the right to issue a Monopoly Warning to the Agency Owner.
| Publisher Type | Minimum Articles / Week | Penalty for Missing Quota |
|---|---|---|
| Part-Time Publisher | 5 Articles | Streak Reset (or +1 Strike) |
| Full-Time Publisher | 15 Articles | Streak Reset (or +1 Strike) |

4. Artificial Intelligence & Acceptable Use
MyCountry.News equips publishers with proprietary Artificial Intelligence models to accelerate multilingual translation, content summarization, and SEO algorithmic optimization.
- Ethical Implementation: AI must be utilized strictly to augment human investigative journalism. Deploying automated bots to mass-generate entirely hallucinated news feeds (AI Spam) triggers an immediate network ban.
- Monthly Credit Cycle: Compute credits are strictly administered on a "use-it-or-lose-it" basis, resetting unconditionally on the 1st of every calendar month. Unused compute bandwidth does not carry over.
- Promotional Exclusion: Agencies enrolled in the "First 100 Free" foundational promotion are excluded from complimentary compute allocations, requiring out-of-pocket "Top-Up Packs" to access AI capabilities.
5. Monetization & Advertising Integrity
The proprietary Ad Manager is strictly governed to protect both the agency's lucrative revenue potential and the end-user's premium reading experience.
A. Free Market Pricing Autonomy
- Absolute Pricing Control: MyCountry.News will never limit, cap, or dictate your advertising rates. Agencies possess total sovereign authority to price local market placements.
- Intervention Protocol: Super Admin intervention is exclusively triggered by severe, documented reports of local business extortion or scam advertisements.
B. Tier-Based Display Algorithms
- Enterprise (Ultra) Tier: Ultimate queue-jumping priority, guaranteeing first-impression delivery.

C. The Syndicate "Overlay Break"
- Enterprise Exclusive: The highly lucrative, unskippable 15-minute video overlay break is an exclusive broadcasting right reserved strictly for National Media Syndicates.
6. The 3-Strike Enforcement Protocol
To relentlessly guard platform integrity and our global reputation, Super Admins enforce these policies via an automated, uncompromising 3-Strike infrastructure.
Strike 1
Official Warning
Minor infractions. Agency continues operations with a warning on record.
Strike 2
Final Warning
Repeated offenses. Agency placed on manual review and throttled.
Strike 3
Permanent Revocation
Dashboard locked. Monopoly revoked. City instantly opens to new applicants.
Formal Appeals Process
If an agency owner suspects a Strike was deployed erroneously (e.g., malicious competitor reporting or fraudulent DMCA claims), they are granted a strict 72-hour window to file a formal appeal through their Agency Dashboard. A Super Admin tribunal will manually audit the backend evidence. The Super Admin's resulting verdict is absolute, final, and legally binding.
