Designed to elevate high-grown Orthodox tea quality, the initiative provides smallholder tea factories with solar-assisted withered leaf processors, organic soil enrichment inputs, and direct international auction telemetry. The national framework targets scaling Sri Lanka's tea export earnings to $2.5 billion by 2030. Regional tea factory owners confirmed that specialty high-grown teas from Nuwara Eliya continue to command premium prices across Middle Eastern, East Asian, and European boutique markets.
