Conservation specialists commenced micro-climate humidity control treatments inside the hollow Kalutara Chaitya to safeguard exquisite Jataka narrative murals against coastal dampness. Concurrently, trust administrators inaugurated newly constructed covered pilgrim walkways and energy-efficient LED ambient illumination along the riverside esplanade, enhancing safety and comfort for hundreds of devotees visiting the sacred shrine daily.
