Musicians, vocalists, and classical arts scholars gathered at the Jaffna Thiruvalluvar Cultural Centre today, September 19, 2026, for the commencement of an exclusive two-day masterclass series focused on the intricacies of Padam compositions in Carnatic tradition.

Conducted in collaboration with visiting classical exponents and the University of Jaffna's Ramanathan Academy of Fine Arts, the intensive workshops explore melodic phrasing, raga expression, and emotional nuance (Bhava) in classical South Asian compositions.
