The special welfare and emergency reception desk of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake mobilized early this morning to assist 20 Sri Lankan nationals deported from Kuwait following visa regularization enforcement.

Upon landing on an inbound commercial flight, the returnees were provided with immediate documentation verification, medical clearance, and subsidized transit fares to their respective hometowns. SLBFE welfare officers also enrolled the individuals in the national migrant reintegration program, offering concessionary micro-credit and technical vocational training scholarships to help them transition into domestic industrial and commercial vocations.
