The package includes specialized indoor gym gear, track and field apparatus, and injury-prevention mats designed to nurture emerging athletic talent from the grassroots level. Ministry officials emphasized that the initiative targets underserved schools in Colombo's suburban zones, ensuring that young student-athletes have access to standard conditioning facilities ahead of upcoming provincial games.
