The Faculty of Computing and Technology (FCT) at the University of Kelaniya in Dalugama, Gampaha, has officially operationalized its new digital Research Grant Management System (RGMS). The custom platform automates grant lifecycle tracking, multi-tier budget allocations, and inter-institutional research deliverables for faculty researchers and postgraduate scholars.

Alongside the platform launch, the faculty announced expanded curriculum modules in artificial intelligence, cloud architecture, and data engineering in partnership with international technology foundations. The digital initiative is designed to bolster Sri Lanka's high-tech knowledge economy and accelerate commercialization pipelines for university-led software innovations.
